| HAMAP-Scan download results |
This form should be used to retrieve the results of previous submission(s) to HAMAP-Scan.
Each submission has been registered under a three-letter code. When the submitted sequences
match against one or more profiles of the
HAMAP family collection,
they will have been processed by our semi-automatic annotation system according to their match score.
Therefore
the results can be available in one or more files.
These file names are
based on the three-letter request code and a specific extension which
will be one of the following:
- ok: the submitted sequences considered to be
trusted members of a HAMAP family and consequently annotated by our annotation system.
- dubious: the submitted sequences considered as
putative members of a HAMAP family, nevertheless annotated by our annotation system.
- overlap: the submitted sequences have overlapping
matches against the HAMAP families.
In this case, our system evaluated the more suitable annotation to apply and
consequently annotated the sequences.
- fusion: the sequences you've submited appear to result
from a gene fusion. They have not been annotated by our annotation system.
The sequences annotated by our annotation system are returned in the
UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot format.
Please note that in case of missing information such as incomplete taxonomy
the HAMAP system will not be able to assign annotation to some proteins,
even though they belong to one (or more) HAMAP family.
An additional section, the
INTERNAL SECTION may be appended to any annotated entry.
This section may contain the following types of lines:
- ** HA: family membership, with scores.
- ** HR: removed lines (lines that were derived from the
original, submitted annotation and that were replaced by the HAMAP annotation system).
- ** HU: unassignable annotation due to insufficient taxonomy
information as supplied by the submitter.
- ** HW: warnings on the sequence, such as possible start-site
problems, absence of catalytic or ligand-binding residues, etc.

Your results will be available during one month after their submission. After that period, you should
resubmit them, if required, using
the HAMAP-Scan form.
