FUNCTIONCatalyzes the transfer of the L-Ara4N moiety of the glycolipid undecaprenyl phosphate-alpha-L-Ara4N to lipid A. The modified arabinose is attached to lipid A and is required for resistance to polymyxin and cationic antimicrobial peptides.
