In land plants cytochrome c-550 and the 12 kDa protein (psbU) are replaced by psbP and psbQ. The oxygen-evolving complex in Cyanidium caldarium is composed of 4 proteins (psbO, psbQ, psbU and cytochrome c- 550); it is not yet known what composes the complex in other algae. MICAE and SPIMA have been included in the seed despite being only the mature protein. The second copies (psbV2) and proteins in GLOVI look quite different and perhaps should be a different subfamily. |
