Comments |
The protein from Shewanella oneidensis (strain MR-1, AC Q8EK32) has been characterized as a nicotinamide-nucleotide amidohydrolase; the closest E.coli paralog (YfaY) does not have this activity, so the activity has not been propagated. Another E.coli paralog does have the expected NMN aminohydrolase activity however (AC P0A6G3). |
